Handicap Studie, the Dutch partner of TIU was responsible for providing a document on Good Practice. Handicap Studie have been recently involved in another EU project, with Irish partner AHEAD. It was suggested that rather than the work being repeated, it would be more effective to refer to the excellent document produced by AHEAD Ireland (2008).
The AHEAD Good practice Guidelines are the outcome of two years consultation and work with the disability sector and was funded by the Higher Education Authority in Ireland and the content describes the many good practices taking place on the ground. It is a joint publication with the HEA. As the purpose of the AHEAD Guidelines is to disseminate good practice AHEAD are delighted that the Guidelines are used in 'Towards Inclusive Universities' EU project and hope the document informs practice in other countries.
