3 Things that will be useful:

3 Things that can be better if changed:

v      Daha çok yabancı dil üzerinde duruluyor. (ingilizce) Foreign language was emphasized.

v      Yabancı arkadaşlarla iletişimsizlik var. There was non-communication with the foreign friends

v      katılımın daha fazla olması. There should be more participation.

v      Tepegözle yapılan eğitimlerde ingilizcenin yanında Türkçenin de olması.Böyle olursa eğitimin daha yararlı olacağını düşünüyorum. While giving presentations with the help of the OHP the translations should be also available. If it is this way it will be more useful.

v      Daha çok insana söz verilip, zamanı daha çok artılırsa ve öğrencilerin katılımı sağlanırsa. If more people were given the right to speak and the time would be increased and if students’ participation were provided…

v      Braille ve sesli dökümanları geliştirilebilir. Braille and sound documents can be improved.

v      İşitme engellilerin katılımı sağlanabilirdi, katılım genişletilebilir. Students with deafness could participate so participation could be widened.

v      Görme engelliler için kabartma ve sesli materyallerle sağlanabilirdi. İşitme engelli olan arkadaşların da katılımıyla kapsamı genişletilebilirdi. Braille and material with sounds could be provided for blind students. With the participation of deaf students the sphere could be widened.

v      Eğitim süresi çok uzundu. Training time was too long.

v      Herşey çok güzel. Everything was fine.

v      Herşey güzeldi. J değişmesini istediğim bir şey yok. Everything was fine I don’t want anything to change.

v      Uygulamaya yönelik olabilir. (pratik olarak). It could be more practical.

v      İçerik çok ilgi çekici değildi. The content was not very interesting.

v      I think we can make a better program than this. I think the project must be shared for all universties one person comed from each university. Bence bundan daha güzel bir program yapabiliriz. Bence proje bütün üniveritelerle paylaşılmalı. Her üniversiteden bir kişi.

v      Longer time together. Daha çok zamanı birlikte geçirmek.

v      A few days is not enough. Birkaç gün yeterli değil.

v      Having a training of two weeks. İki haftalık bir eğitim olmalı

v      Maybe the program would more useful if we work longer.  Daha uzun çalışılırsa program daha faydalı olabilir.

v      Programme was so long for a day. It should be less or not whole day. Program bir gün için çok uzundu. Daha az veya bütün gün olmamalı.

v      Duration of sessions can be shortened. Oturumların süresi kısaltılabilir.

v      More time for working groups. Çalışma gruplarına daha fazla zaman.

v      Starting on time. Zamanında başlamak.

v      Communication in English need to be improved. İngilizce iletişim geliştirilmeli.

v      Simultaneous translation. Eşzamanlı çeviri.

v      It must be English when we mix all persons. Herkes çalıştığında dil İngilizce olmalı.

v      Having participants who know English. İngilizce bilen katılımcılar olmalı.

v      It would be better if the language was Turkish. Dil Türkçe olsaydı daha iyi olurdu.

v      All conversations must be translated in Turkish. Bütün konuşmalar Türkçeye çevirilmeli.

v      There are not enough parts to ask students what do you think. Öğrencilerin ne düşündüklerini soran kısımlar çok azdı.

v      Students must be involved in organisation. Öğrenciler organizsyona katılmalı.

v      I was bored in the network speech. Ağ oluşturma konuşmasında sıkıldım.

v      Must be interactive groups events between all students. Bütün öğrenciler arasında etkileşimli grup çalışmaları olmalı.

v      Could be more active. Daha aktif olabilirdi.

v     More drama, role – play . Daha çok drama, rol yapma

v      Bathroom was not accessible for disable people, sometimes we were spending to such time at same themes and we had less time for the others issues. Banyo engelli insanlar için uygun değildi. Bazen aynı konular üzerinde çok durup farklı konulara az zaman bırakıldı.

v      Less food. Daha az yemek.

v      More parties. Daha çok parti

v      Everything could be done at the hotel. Her şey otelde yapılabilirdi

v      Having the meeting at only one place. Toplantılar aynı yerde yapılabilirdi.

v      One place instead of two. İki farklı yerde yapılmasın, tek yerde olsun.

v      Maybe more participants. Daha çok katılımcı.

v      Near the information about your project that can be better to show photos about institute on powerpoint presentation. Proje hakkında bilgi verildiğinde ppt kullanarak kurumun resimleri gösterilebilirdi.

3 Things that are bad/should be cut/skipped

Ø      I don’t think there’s something to cut.

Ø      Every thing was ok.

Ø      No, it was very succesfull. We thank you.

Ø      Each student should have had time to talk about himself -  en azından her öğrenci kendini anlatabilecek kadar zaman verilmesi.

Ø      Students should have had more opportunity to speak and produce solutions to our problems. - Öğrencilere daha fazla söz hakkı verilebilir ve sorunlarımızı çözümler üretilebilir.

Ø      Only some of the students had the possibility of talking about themselves.

Ø      You can’t strike (interact effectively as a group) with disabled students, because there are not enough disabled students.

Ø      We were behind with our program most of participants were late, too much turkish language

Ø      Very long program.

Ø      It’s too short.

Ø      Being too long

Ø      The programme was too long. It was better to do in a short time.

Ø      2 -3 days intensive program (it had to be)

Ø      Conversation in groups was in english, 

Ø      Must be translate for students.

Ø      Not being able to speak English - ingilizce konuşamamak

Ø      Maybe the level of Turkish conversation was more than it was necessary .

Ø      There are not enough smiles

Ø      People from the same countries were always together. They should mix.

Ø      the presentation on lobbying was not very realistic for disabled issues, but  just for general issues.

Ø      Gilles’ presentation was not useful enough: I don’t think it was necessary. Thank you even so.   - Gilles’in sunumunun yeterince faydalı ve gerekli olduğunu düşünmüyorum. Yine de teşekkür ederim.

Ø      some part of lobying wasn’t realistic

Ø      Being at METU was too tiring.

Ø      The constant changing of venue place.

Ø      No time for social activities.

Ø      Less eating

Ø      Always feeling tired (but this was nothing to do with the program) - Kendimi sürekli yorgun hissettim ama bunun programla ilgisi yok.

Comments about:

The content of the program

·         Even better than I expected.

·         I enjoyed the whole program, I gained a lot, and in the future I will use these in my life - Program boyunca çok eğlendim, çok kazanımlar edindim ve bunlar ilerde hayatıma ekleyeceğim.

·         I think the whole training was useful.  The contents were very good - Eğitimin tamamen yararlı olduğunu düşünüyorum. İçerik olarakta çok iyiydi.

·         The subjects were suitable for coordinators and disabled students.  Timing was a bit of a problem.  The contents were really chosen carefully - Konular koordinatör ve engelli öğrenciler için uygundu. Zaman konusunda biraz sıkıntı oldu. Konular gerçekten önemle seçilmişti.

·         As the aim was mixing Turkish and foreign students, and informing them, the program was suitable and very good - Türk ve yabancı öğrencileri kaynaştırmak ve bilgilendirmek ana amaç olduğu için program yerinde ve çok güzel.

·         The program was very comprehensive and good - Program çok kapsamlı ve güzel.

·         It is really useful and can help people with disabilities to empower themselves.

·         Well balanced; useful for future reference.

·         Good interaction.

·         Evelien Van Eerten directed well and I want other participants to know this - Evelien Van Eerten güzel yönetti, diğer katılımcılardan bu noktada dikkat etmelerini istiyorum.

·         Very useful workshops

·         Empowerment.

·         Empowerment activity was informative - Güçlendirme çalışması bilgilendiriciydi.

·         It was interesting, but we were not always very punctual?, too much Turkish language.

·         Could be more hands-on

·         The program was a bit boring/ stressful, probably because we couldn’t fully understand - Program biraz sıkıcı idi belki de tam anlamamızdan kaynaklı olabilir.

The trainers:

• Jan’s talks were the most easy to understand, point by point.  Evelien’s methods were very creative - Jan’ın konuşması hepsinden daha iyi anlaşılır ve tane taneydi . Evelien’in sunumunun yöntemi çok yaratıcıydı.
• I think the presentations they gave were really instructive, realistic and useful - Yaptıkları sunumlar gerçekten öğretici, gerçekçi  ve faydalı olduğunu düşünüyorum.
• Excellent, pleasant, patient and great working with them.
• Jan was very good prepered and always full of energy also others were good.

The hotel:

·         It’s best where I have been.

·         The hotel was really good.  The food was tasty. The service was important: hotel staff knew what each disabled person needed.  -  Otel gerçekten iyiydi. Yemekler güzeldi. İlgileri çok önemliydi. Hangi engellinin neye ihtiyaç olduğunu çalışanlar biliyordu.

·         A very good hotel.  Both the rooms and the food were very hygienic.  I thank the hotel management. -  Çok iyi bir hotel. Hemde odalar hemde yemekler çok hijyenikti. Hotel yönetimine teşekkür ediyorum.

·         I thought it was wonderful - Harika buldum.

·         A true 4 stars hotel, well done!

·         Very nice waiters, nice rooms.

v      METU room was suitable in the hotel meeting room the seating was not comfortable - ODTÜ salonu uygundu fakat oteldeki salonun oturma düzeyi biraz rahatsız etti.

v      The hotel room was good and the meeting was effective.  In METU the room was good, but there was a problem with the toilet.  - Oteldeki odalar iyiydi Toplantılar verimliydi. ODTÜ oda iyiydi fakat tuvallet konusunda sıkıntı vardı.

v      The hotel excellent, METU bad.

v      All the university a bit too hot, at the hotel too dark some sunlight would have been good.
