- Answer the next questions (please, write down only keywords) for yourself:
- What can you tell about the situation of people (especially students) with disabilities in Turkey? More specifically: What is in your opinion the difference between the real and the wished situation? (Please, think about image, treatment, rights, etc.)
- What do you think about the way people in The Netherlands look at people (students) with disabilities?
- What global kind of feelings play a role (students themselves, family, friends, teachers, government, public opinion)?
- How do students with disabilities cope with this in Turkey?
and only as far as there is time left: - What should be done to improve the situation? (please make a distinction between a few different target groups, for instance:
- national: government (legislation), radio/TV (information supply, influence on public opinion), - environmental for people with disabilities: institutes and personnel (for instance universities), parents, friends, fellow students, etc. - How should students with disabilities cope with all this?
- In pairs: combine your lists to one new and more complete list (in short time!) without discussion; only ask questions to each other about the meaning of terms and give the matching explanation!
- In foursome: two pairs fulfil the same actions as before, resulting in one list of 4 persons on flip over sheets.
- Plenary: presentation and short discussion of the resulting flip over sheets.
