Legislation: Of the 51 answers to this question, only one said 'no disability legislation'. Others did contact TIU with personal information, but did not feel ready to answer the survey: This indicates the survey was not able to collect information from those universities as the beginning of establishing disability support. Note that all countries except Netherlands and Poland, the general disability law mentions Higher Education. According to the survey data, the earliest law was passed in the USA (1973+1990). In the EU, Finland was the first to pass disability legislation, in 1982.
