Student: This student with low vision has limited vision due to macular degeneration 

Challenges: She cannot see what is written on the board, even sitting in the first row. 

Skills and Strategies: She uses a digital camera with large (3.5”) display screen. This way she can zoom in and see the board “closer” in detail on the display screen. When the professor permits, she can use the photos instead of notes. After class she can easily read her 'notes' on her large screen PC monitor.
